Oasis in Sedona believes that true wellness emerges from harmony both within ourselves and within our community and environment. We are committed to supporting this journey by offering a beautiful space in the Village of Oak Creek that encourages community building through music, movement, multi-dimensional exploration and knowledge sharing.

Join us in a safe and sacred space to share wisdom as we come together and use our voices, to be heard, to be seen and to learn from each other.

First Gathering – Finding Connections

Become a part of Wise Women Wednesday. The women’s circle is an ancient practice. Our ancestral mothers, grandmothers, sisters, and aunts created these sacred gatherings for thousands of years. When we participate in a women’s circle, we carry on the tradition of our female ancestors by forming a sacred community to celebrate the feminine. Through sisterhood support, we can better express our wisdom within our relationships, families, and communities. We can contribute to the restoration of the balance of the masculine and feminine in the world at large.

A women’s circle allows each woman to speak their truth without judgment. Sharing with other supportive, empowering women helps us to release the weight of burdens we carry. When we shed light on our fears in community, we diminish their power. We can then step beyond that wall of fear and emerge empowered.

Often busy lives get in the way of self-care. The women’s circle is a moment for self-love. It permits women to take time to nurture themselves. A gathering of sisters offers a time to appreciate all the hard work that goes into womanhood. It’s a time to rest, to connect with sisters, and focus on physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing.

Brain Longevity Training*

What can we do to improve our health and minds as we age? The key to improving health and preventing cognitive decline lies in our lifestyle choices. While DNA  cannot be changed, the expression of genes can be altered through these lifestyle changes.

In this workshop, you will be introduced to the 4 Pillars of Alzheimer’s Prevention and explore some cognitive training (brain training) exercises designed to help maintain or even increase a person’s cognitive abilities.

Join us for a fun workshop exploring techniques to improve our brain function through neuroplasticity training and balance.

*Handouts will be given to participants / $35 set fee / CEU’s available

Pain & Stress Relief

How do you deal with physical pain and stress in your life? Are there techniques and strategies that have helped you? Are there other techniques that you have been curious about and would like to try? We are looking to learn from each other about our individual and collective experiences.

Einstein said: “The future of medicine is frequency medicine.” Taking that into consideration, we will explore several techniques that have proven their effectiveness for some people to relieve both pain and stress.

One technique will be through Conscious Breathing, which involves directing awareness to the breath and consciously working with it. By consciously changing the way you breathe, a signal is sent to the brain to adjust the parasympathetic branch of the nervous system, thereby slowing your heart rate, lowering your blood pressure, and improving your digestion. Other techniques will be Frequency Analysis & Emotional Balancing, Guided Visualization, Energy Healing and Sound Therapy. By being able to explore these within our circle, you may find the technique or combination that works for you!

Taking Care of the Caregiver

Balance & Renewal with the Vagus Nerves*

Learn techniques to help create balance in the body and harmonize the nervous system by working to increase Vagal tone. The Vagus nerve literally activates the parasympathetic nervous system – the mechanism that controls involuntary actions and affects mood. According to researchers, it is, in fact, the internal eye that connects the mind to the body. The Vagus nerves are essentially in charge of the parasympathetic nervous system, so the more we learn to activate these nerves, like deep breathing, the more we reduce the effects of the sympathetic nervous system

In this 2-hour workshop we will discuss the importance of the Vagus nerves and how it can apply on and off our mats.

Handouts will be given to participants / *$35 set fee

Finding Purpose:  Who Are You Becoming?

Speaking your truth is an essential aspect of living a life of passion, fulfillment, and authenticity. It is only through honest self-expression that you are empowered to discover your life purpose at any stage of your life and become who you intend yourself to be. We also live in a culture that favors logic over intuition. As children, we are not taught to value our intuition, and our “gut feelings” are often discounted if we cannot logically defend our reasoning. As a result, as an adult, we no longer trust one of the most powerful gifts that we have as women: our Intuition! We simply have learned to doubt that we could know things through nonlogical means.

At the last women’s circle of 2024, we will explore ways to connect with our inner truths, develop our intuition and inner vision, let go of our attachments, and feel empowered to be our unique selves.
